VietTranslate AI ("Tiện ích", "chúng tôi", "của chúng tôi") cam kết bảo vệ quyền riêng tư của bạn.
Chính sách này giải thích cách chúng tôi thu thập, sử dụng và bảo vệ dữ liệu của bạn khi sử dụng tiện ích mở rộng Chrome.
2. Dữ Liệu Chúng Tôi Thu Thập
VietTranslate AI chỉ thu thập dữ liệu tối thiểu cần thiết để vận hành:
- Email của bạn — Chỉ khi bạn nâng cấp lên gói Premium để xác thực thanh toán
- Văn bản dịch thuật — Văn bản bạn chọn để dịch hoặc lưu vào Sổ Ghi Chú
- Lịch sử Sổ Ghi Chú — Các bản dịch đã lưu (chỉ lưu trên thiết bị của bạn)
- ID cài đặt duy nhất — Mã UUID ngẫu nhiên được tạo khi cài đặt tiện ích để ngăn chia sẻ tài khoản
⚠️ Quan trọng: Chúng tôi KHÔNG thu thập lịch sử duyệt web, mật khẩu, dữ liệu thẻ tín dụng, hoặc bất kỳ thông tin nhạy cảm nào khác.
3. Cách Chúng Tôi Sử Dụng Dữ Liệu
- Email — Chỉ dùng để xác thực thanh toán Premium và liên kết với ID cài đặt của bạn
- Văn bản dịch thuật — Gửi tới Google Translate API (100+ ngôn ngữ, gói Free) hoặc Gemini Nano AI chỉ cho tiếng Anh (gói Premium) để xử lý bản dịch
- Sổ Ghi Chú — Lưu trữ 100% cục bộ trên trình duyệt của bạn bằng
chrome.storage.local, KHÔNG upload lên server
- ID cài đặt — Liên kết với bản ghi thanh toán trong database để đảm bảo một email chỉ kích hoạt trên một thiết bị

5. Chia Sẻ Dữ Liệu Với Bên Thứ Ba
Chúng tôi KHÔNG bán, cho thuê hoặc chia sẻ dữ liệu cá nhân của bạn. Duy nhất các dịch vụ sau có quyền truy cập:
- Google Translate API — Nhận văn bản gốc để trả về bản dịch (gói Free)
- Gemini Nano AI — Chạy hoàn toàn cục bộ trên thiết bị của bạn, không gửi dữ liệu ra ngoài (gói Premium)
- Firebase (Google Cloud) — Lưu trữ bản ghi thanh toán với mã hóa trong quá trình truyền (TLS)
6. Quyền Của Bạn
Bạn có toàn quyền kiểm soát dữ liệu của mình:
- Xem dữ liệu — Mở tab "Cài Đặt" trong tiện ích để xem email và trạng thái Premium
- Xóa Sổ Ghi Chú — Nhấn nút xóa bên cạnh mỗi mục hoặc xóa toàn bộ bằng cách gỡ tiện ích
- Hủy Premium — Liên hệ hỗ trợ để yêu cầu xóa bản ghi thanh toán và email khỏi database
- Xuất dữ liệu — Dữ liệu Sổ Ghi Chú có thể copy thủ công từ giao diện tiện ích
7. Bảo Mật
Chúng tôi áp dụng nhiều lớp bảo mật:
- Mã hóa XOR cho API keys trong mã nguồn
- Token SHA-256 để xác thực Premium (không thể giả mạo)
- ID cài đặt ngăn chia sẻ tài khoản Premium
- Firebase Security Rules hạn chế quyền truy cập database
- Không lưu trữ dữ liệu thẻ tín dụng hoặc thông tin thanh toán (chỉ xác nhận thủ công qua chuyển khoản ngân hàng)
8. Dữ Liệu Của Trẻ Em
VietTranslate AI không cố ý thu thập dữ liệu từ trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi. Nếu bạn là phụ huynh và phát hiện con mình
đã cung cấp thông tin, vui lòng liên hệ chúng tôi để xóa.
9. Thay Đổi Chính Sách
Chúng tôi có thể cập nhật chính sách này theo thời gian. Ngày "Cập nhật lần cuối" ở đầu trang sẽ được điều chỉnh.
Thay đổi quan trọng sẽ được thông báo qua cập nhật tiện ích.

VietTranslate AI ("Extension", "we", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy.
This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when using our Chrome extension.
2. Data We Collect
VietTranslate AI only collects minimal data necessary for operation:
- Your Email — Only when you upgrade to Premium for payment verification
- Translation Text — Text you select to translate or save to Notebook
- Notebook History — Saved translations (stored only on your device)
- Unique Installation ID — Random UUID generated when installing the extension to prevent account sharing
⚠️ Important: We DO NOT collect browsing history, passwords, credit card data, or any other sensitive information.
3. How We Use Data
- Email — Only used to verify Premium payments and link to your installation ID
- Translation Text — Sent to Google Translate API (100+ languages, Free tier) or Gemini Nano AI for English only (Premium tier) for translation processing
- Notebook — Stored 100% locally in your browser using
chrome.storage.local, NOT uploaded to servers
- Installation ID — Linked to payment records in database to ensure one email activates only one device

5. Data Sharing with Third Parties
We DO NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data. Only these services have access:
- Google Translate API — Receives source text to return translation (Free tier)
- Gemini Nano AI — Runs entirely locally on your device, no data sent externally (Premium tier)
- Firebase (Google Cloud) — Stores payment records with encryption in transit (TLS)
6. Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- View Data — Open "Settings" tab in extension to see email and Premium status
- Delete Notebook — Click delete button next to each entry or delete all by uninstalling extension
- Cancel Premium — Contact support to request deletion of payment record and email from database
- Export Data — Notebook data can be manually copied from extension interface
7. Security
We implement multiple security layers:
- XOR encryption for API keys in source code
- SHA-256 tokens for Premium authentication (tamper-proof)
- Installation ID prevents Premium account sharing
- Firebase Security Rules restrict database access
- No storage of credit card or payment information (manual bank transfer verification only)
8. Children's Data
VietTranslate AI does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are a parent and discover
your child has provided information, please contact us for deletion.
9. Policy Changes
We may update this policy over time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will be adjusted.
Important changes will be announced via extension updates.
